Ben Zaken

Shlomi Ben Zaken is a single father who lives with his mother and brother in a depressed housing project. He tries to raise his troubled 11-year-old daughter Ruhi, but his night shift and lack of further job prospects encapsulates the lives of generations of immigrants who long to break out of their cycle of poverty. Only when he is separated from Ruhi does Shlomi understand what it truly means to be a parent.
